An event featuring Korean culture will be held this weekend at Inspire Resort Arena in Incheon.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) on Oct. 4 announced their hosting of the K-Link Festival on Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. on the occasion of the tourism campaign 2023-24 Visit Korea Year.
Debuting last year, the event will see some 12,000 visitors -- 10,000 from abroad and 2,000 from Korea.
The seven famous K-pop artists to perform are THE BOYZ, RIIZE, Minho from SHINee, aespa, NCT WISH, ITZY and Triple S.
Foreign offices of the KTO and tourism companies cooperated to attract about 10,000 Hallyu (Korean Wave) fans from around the world including China, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Before the performances, a booth from 1 p.m. will allow foreign tourists to try on Hanbok (traditional clothing) and play traditional games.
The festival will be livestreamed on The K-pop, SBS Medianet's YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@thekpop).
