The Hallyu (Korean Wave) extravaganza MyK Festa will kick off on June 19.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on June 17 announced its hosting of the inaugural festival from June 19-22 jointly with the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange at Olympic Park in Seoul's Songpa-gu District.
Foreign and domestic fans of Hallyu, experts and figures from the content and related sectors will attend events such as concerts, international conferences, industrial exhibitions and export consultations.
K-pop acts will perform at the KSPO Dome on June 19 and 21.
Slated to go on stage on June 19 are N. Flying, WayV, Young Ji Lee, aespa, ILLIT, Hearts2Hearts, NEWBEAT and AHOF.
LYn, Heize, NCT TEN, Chung Ha, Lee Mujin, ITZY, BE'O and TNX will do so on June 21.
Experts in the content and related industries from home and abroad on June 20 will hold an international conference at the KSPO Dome.
Discussions on the growth potential and expansion of the Korean content industry will feature guests like Billboard CEO Mike Van; Danielle Jin, Visa's chief marketing officer for the Asia-Pacific region; Lee Do-yoon, director of the Netflix TV series "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call"; and Lee Jong-beom, creator of the webtoon "Dr. Frost."
Domestic performing arts teams will appear on stage on June 22 at the KSPO Dome.
Exhibitions and interactive booths from June 19-22 at the park's handball stadium will feature about 100 domestic companies from sectors such as dramas, webtoons and food.
The stadium will also be the venue for talks and lectures among figures from the content sector and fan meetings with K-pop acts.
Food companies specializing in Hansik (traditional food) will set up sales stands at Hanul Square of Olympic Park.
About 160 companies seeking to expand abroad and 170 foreign buyers will attend business export consultations.
