"KPop Demon Hunters" has made history by winning two Oscars at this year's Academy Awards.
The animated juggernaut on March 15 won Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for "Golden" at the awards ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
"For those of you who look like me, I'm so sorry that it took us so long to see us in a movie that looks like this. But it is here. And that means that the next generations don't have to go longing," creator and co-director Maggie Kang said in her acceptance speech.
"This is for Korea and Koreans everywhere."

The hit "Golden" from the film's soundtrack also became the first K-pop winner of Best Original Song.
"I realized this award is not about success -- it's about resilience," singer-songwriter EJAE said. "Growing up, people made fun of me for K-pop. But now they're all singing our songs and all the Korean lyrics."
The film is about the fictional girl group HUNTR/X and its fight against Saja Boys, a boy band of evil spirits who target human souls.
Earlier in January, the movie and "Golden" won Best Animated Film and Best Original Song at the Golden Globes. The hit last month was also named Best Song Written for Visual Media at the Grammys.
"KPop Demon Hunters" beat out competitors such as "Zootopia 2" of Disney and "Elio" of Pixar Studios for Best Animated Feature.
