The annual Korean summer camp of the Korean Cultural Center in Moscow's branch in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-don from July 12-15 featured activities to experience Korea.

Participants were welcomed by the center's director and an education attache from the Korean Embassy.

The camp featured (clockwise from top left) a lecture on studying in Korea, souvenir giveaway, viewing of the variety show "Sixth Sense" and quiz competition.

The participants watched the Korean variety show "Sixth Sense" with Russian subtitles and toured the center. The director and the attache gave a lecture on studying at Korean universities and applying for grants and scholarships.

Students later competed in a Monopoly-style quiz on the Korean language and culture for prizes.

Students learn to make gimbap (seaweed rice rolls).

Hands-on activities included a class on making gimbap (seaweed rice rolls) using ingredients like ham, egg omelet, seafood, fish and pickled vegetables.

Both children and adults could try on Hanbok.

For those who wished to feel the atmosphere of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910)
, a range of Hanbok (traditional attire) to try on was made available for both children and adults.

The camp had music, dance and taekwondo performances and a Korean meal.

A small concert featured performances of traditional dance, percussion, and children's and adult choirs as well as a taekwondo demonstration. Hungry participants also tried Korean dishes prepared for them.
