The national women's curling team on Jan. 21 holds a training demonstration at the squad's kickoff ceremony for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and media day at Gangneung Curling Center in Gangneung, Gangwon-do Province. The squad is nicknamed "Team Kim" since every member is surnamed Kim (Kim Eun-jung, Kim Yeong-mi, Kim Kyeong-ae, Kim Seon-yeong and Kim Cho-hi). In 2018, the team surprised the world by winning the silver medal at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, creating a boom in the sport in Korea.
