The special reconnaissance battalion of the Marine Corps on May 31 conducts a "hard duck" operation, in which a fully inflated boat is transported and inserted with personnel, off the coast of Buk-gu District in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. The battalion is the Marines' anti-terrorism unit that leads special ops missions during a landing operation.
