K-pop sensation BTS on May 31 is set to meet U.S. President Joe Biden at the White House in Washington.

BTS' management agency Big Hit Entertainment on May 27 said the boy band will discuss anti-Asian hate crimes during the visit at the president's invitation.

The agency said the meeting will come on the occasion of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

"The invitation to the White House by President Biden is a great honor," Big Hit said. "As a representative of Korean artists, BTS hopes to discuss with the president a range of topics including inclusion, diversity, anti-Asian hate crimes, culture and art."

BTS has constantly spread a message of hope and positivity around the world and raised its voice against anti-Asian hate crimes.

As Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture of the Korean government at the 76th United Nations General Assembly, the group discussed climate change, response to COVID-19 and Korean culture as a speaker for future generations.

BTS held its "Love Myself" campaign with UNICEF, took part in social movements like Black Lives Matter and spread messages against anti-Asian hate crimes.
