The Korean Marathon: The Dream of World Marathon Runners!
The Dong-a Seoul International Marathon originated from the Gyeongseong-Yeongdeungpo marathon, which was later changed to Dong-a Marathon in 1931. The race produced numerous star marathon runners, including Kim Eun-bae and Son Gi-jeong of the 1930s, followed by Hwang Young-jo and Lee Bong-ju of today. As such, the Dong-a Seoul International Marathon bears witness to the history of the Korean marathon.

- Finish : Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium
- Marathon course officially closes 5 hours after the starting time.
- Prize : 1st to 6th Men & Women winners will be awarded with trophies.
