The annual Yangnyeong-si herbal medicine market, since 1658, is not just an ordinary marketplace but is also a festival for herb merchants and consumers from Korea and overseas.
When the market is open, you can look around the Oriental herbs for sale and browse the exhibition hall. Moreover, you can enjoy the goodness of East Asian medicinal herbs at the herbal food booths, enjoy the herbal arbor tunnel, the herbal foot bath and herbal clinics, too.
Finally, you can also make your own herbal balls or soaps.
