Yeongdong-gun County in Chungcheongbuk-do Province celebrates its seasonal delicacy, gotgam dried persimmons.
At the Yeongdong Dried Persimmon Festival, visitors can sample chewy and sweet gotgam, dried perfectly in the cold mountain air, and try their hand at making and collecting the dried fruit delicacy.
There will also be a farmers’ market where tourists can sample some of the fresh produce from Yeongdong.
