Events at KCCs abroad

Taking place from 1st to 7th December, the SG Cares Giving Week is a week-long movement where individuals, leaders, businesses and non-profit organisations come together to give their time, talent, treasure and voice in support of the causes they are passionate about, to help build a City of Good and a Singapore that cares. The event is organised in partnership with the SG Cares Office, the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), and the National Council of Social Service (NCSS).

In support of the movement, renowned hallyu stars including Song Joong-ki, Leo from VIXX and Hyelim – former member of Wonder Girls – have gladly taken time to share their voice through congratulatory messages for the launch of SG Care Giving Week 2020. Baby Shark, a famous Korean character, has also shown support for the movement through a recorded video message encouraging the spirit of giving.

The Korean Embassy in Singapore is pleased to be able to contribute to the movement as a supporting partner. Attending the SG Cares Giving Week Inaugural Launch at Suntec Convention Centre on December 1, His Excellency AHN Young-jip, Ambassador
of the Republic of Korea, shared that he is proud of being a part of SG Cares Giving Week 2020 and hopes to further deepen our bilateral friendship through people–to-people exchanges.

Together, let’s build a Singapore that cares!
