Mask Donation Ceremony at NYS Veteran’s Home at Montrose

Consul General Won-sam Chang attended a mask donation ceremony at NYS Veteran’s Home at Montrose on Wednesday, April 28. Amb. Chang presented 30,000 KF94s to NYS Department of Veterans Services Executive Director Joel Evans for Korean War veterans in the state. Also attending were NYS Health Department’s Health Facility Management Director Ryan Ashe and Montrose Veterans Home Director Nancy Baa-Danso. Korean War Veterans Association New York Chapter President Salvatore Scarlato and the chapter VP John SJ Ha represented Korean War veterans. From the Korean community, Korean-American Association of Greater New York President Charles Yoon and several Korean veterans’ associations participated.
