Until May 16, go and discover the world of webtoons at Korean Cultural Center Brussels.

In collaboration with La Foire du Livre de Bruxelles, the KCC has organized a webtoon exhibition where the specificities of Korean webtoons can be discovered as well as experienced via tablets.

The term "Webtoon" originated from the combination of the words "web" and "cartoon". This is a new form of digital comic, which is now very popular in Korea. The comic is an art form that was created and developed along with the evolution of printing. Since the development of digital technology, mass production and distribution to the public has been possible on a large scale. It is also a comic form that is experiencing explosive growth thanks to the rise of smartphones. With a smartphone, anyone can connect to the worldwide web and read webtoons anytime, anywhere.
