Events at KCCs abroad

Korean Temple Food Class - Week 4 was held on July 21, 2022 at Korean Cultural Center in Thailand. Students learned tofu kimbap (seaweed rice rolls) and ssambap (rice wraps). 













Temple-style kimbap is characterized by adding tofu simmered in soy sauce instead of ham or sausage. 
























Ssambap using kimchi cabbage, bok choy, and kale leaves, which are commonly available in Thailand, flavored with nut ssamjang.














 


For the students who participated diligently for 4 weeks, Ms. Jung, Inkyung, Instructor specially made Mango Sikhye (chilled rice drink).
