Korean Cultural Center in Thailand organizes the Exchange Exhibition of Korean and Thai Contemporary Prints 2022 on August 3, 2022 at 5 p.m.







This exhibition is opened during August 3-30, 2022 on the first floor and the second floor of the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand. There are 33 artworks from 28 Korean artists and 3 Thai artists.





The opening ceremony started with an opening remark by H.E. Moon Seoung-hyun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, saying, “I hope that people-to-people exchanges between the two countries will increase and I hope that this exhibition will enable active exchanges between the two countries. Not only modern culture, but also fine arts and artists.”








Then, on behalf of Korean artists, Kim Hye Kyung, President of the Philoprint Printmakers' Association, said, "I am delighted to hold an exhibition with young Thai artists as the invitation of the Korean Embassy and Korean Cultural Center. I am delighted to present the works of this exhibition that reflect the lives, philosophies, and times of the artists. I hope you enjoy it.”








In addition, Ploy Nikadanont, a lecturer at the Fine and Applied Arts Division, Mahidol University and the representative of Thai artists, said, “I am happy to make an exhibition with my teacher, Parichart, and my friend, Lalida, and thanks to the Korean Embassy and Korean Cultural Center for giving me a good opportunity. Thank you”.








Afterwards, Ambassador Moon Seoung-hyeon looked around the Exhibition Hall while listening to the artists' explanations of their works.










The Exchange Exhibition of Korean and Thai Contemporary Prints 2022 will be held in the exhibition halls on the 1st and 2nd floor of the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand until August 30.
