Events at KCCs abroad

The Korean Cultural Centre Australia (KCCAU) is to offer a Youth Workshop making Korean JOGAK MOBILES in partnership with Inner West Council Libraries on Wed, 28 September from 1 to 3pm at the Leichhardt Library.

The Inner West Council’s network includes eight public libraries which have an extensive collection of books, magazines, DVDs, toys and online resources to borrow, and an interesting and diverse range of events for everyone. Also, the Inner West Council Libraries have a wide range of interactive school holiday programs for kids and youth.

In this hands-on sewing workshop, the participants will get to create hanging Jogak mobiles using Korean traditional knot. Jogakbo is Korean traditional patchwork using scraps of left-over fabrics from Hanbok (Korean traditional attire). Jogak means a piece of cloth, and bo means a wrapping cloth.
