Lim Yunchan concert in Rome

On Tuesday 31 January the Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Italy Chun Yejin together with H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Lee Seong-ho and his wife went to the Aula Magna of the Sapienza University of Rome to attend the concert of pianist Lim Yunchan and show their support for the young Korean pianist.

Lim Yunchan won the Van Cliburn international competition in 2022, becoming the youngest winner in the history of the prestigious competition and performed in January in Italy in Rome and Turin. All the seats available at the Rome concert were sold out and the 1,000 spectators present expressed their great appreciation by continuous standing ovations reciprocated by the young and talented Korean pianist with various unscheduled "encores".
