(Article reported in the Brazilian press) Unesp employees participate in a workshop on the Korean alphabet offered by the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil.
Employees of Unesp-So Paulo State University "Jlio de Mesquita Filho" will participate in a workshop on the Korean alphabet Hangul this Wednesday, July 5th, at the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil (CCCB) in So Paulo.
In addition to learning about its history and how it originated, participants will also learn the pronunciation and the correct way to draw the strokes of the 14 consonants and 10 vowels that make up the alphabet.
"At the end, each participant will take their own name written in Hangul as a souvenir," says Mideum Seo, from CCCB, responsible for organizing the workshop. Approximately 40 employees are expected to participate.
Exhibition: The workshop will take place during the employees' visit to the exhibition "Lights of Korea: The City of Jinju", which highlights the importance of lanterns in Korean culture and will be on display until August 20th, with free admission.
