The Korean Cultural Center Sweden (Koreanskt Kulturcenter, KKC) has been showing Korean movies since its public opening. In July, the Korean horror movie "A Tale of Two Sisters (장화, 홍련)" will be screened at the cultural center.
The film is inspired by a traditional folktale entitled "Janghwa Hongryeon jeon (장화홍련전)" and held of record for the highest-grossing South Korean horror film genre for several years. Kim Jee-Woon, who directed this movie, is currently one of the most talented and recognized directors in the Korean film industry.
The visitor can also listen to the musical artwork of Lee Byung-woo (이병우), a South Korean guitarist and composer of film scores. Lee's music for A Tale of Two Sisters was known as one of the best film scores ever composed for a Korean film.
