A highlight video of the play "The Little Tiger for Korea" which shows the precious relationship between Thailand and Korea is out now!
On 18-20 January, The Korean Cultural Center staged a play called “The Little Tiger for Korea”, which is adapted from the webtoon “One Day, My Beloved Idol Group‘s Leader Disappeared!” at Sodsai Pantoomkomol Center for Dramatic Arts, Chulalongkorn University. This webtoon is publishing through KAKAO WEBTOON and Thai Post.
“The Little Tiger for Korea” is the story of “Pim”, a plastic surgeon and descendant of a Korean War veteran who travels back in time to the Korean War to solve the problem of "Kay", a K-pop idol whose identity suddenly disappeared from everyone's memory. After witnessing the battle and the sacrifice of brave soldiers in the past, Pim grew up as a better doctor.
The friendship that was formed while fighting side by side for peace and freedom between Thai soldiers "Khram" and "Athit" and Korean soldiers "Kim Gon-woo" and "Ko Young-mi" has shown an invaluable relationship between the two countries. There are also supporting roles such as the Thai shaman, "Sukanya" and the Korean shaman, "Park Jin-ho" who keep the audience laughing throughout the performance.
This video is a highlight from a three hours performance into 30 minutes. The play will have additional show times this coming August. There's a lot more fun waiting for you, so don't miss it!
This video also has Korean and English subtitles. Feel free to watch it!
