On June 11, Consul General Euy Whan Kim visited Jersey City and met with Mayor Steven Fulop to discuss enhancing economic and cultural cooperation between Korea and Jersey City, as well as strengthening ties between local governments.

During the meeting, Consul General Kim emphasized the importance of Jersey City's support in promoting K-culture and enhancing internship and scholarship programs for both Korean and American students. Mayor Fulop welcomed the Consul General's visit and expressed Jersey City's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Korea, proposing to collaborate closely in various fields following this meeting.
