Mr. Oh Joon, Korean embassador to Singapore hoseted a garden party to mark the country's opening World Cup football match against Greece.
Before the game stared, Korean percussion group Noreum Machi performed with Korean traditional instrument including Taepyongso which is horn instrument like South Africa's Vuvusela.
About 50 guests who were wearing red shirts cheered Korean team by using bright-red clappers and chanting "Dae Han Min Guk" which was a famous cheer during the 2002 World Cup.
In an interview with The Straits Times, Mr Oh said "Koreans love to gather and watch soccer together."
