Seminar with Korean author Heena Baek at the University for Foreigners of Siena
On Thursday, April 3rd, at the University for Foreigners of Siena(Università per Stranieri di Siena), the Korean Cultural Center in Italy held the “Traveling Korean Culture Festival”.
The event was attended by professors and students from the Korean Studies Department of the University for Foreigners of Siena, as well as local residents of the city.
During the event, there was a seminar by Heena Baek, Korean writer and illustrator, and winner of the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, considered the Nobel Prize of children’s literature. This was followed by a traditional Korean music and dance performance by the group "Sorirang", made up of members of the Korean community in Rome.
