The Royal Danish Orchestra, one of the oldest in the world with a 570-year history, will perform in Korea for the first time on Dec. 8 at the Seoul Arts Center to mark the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationship between Korea and Denmark.
Led by conductor Thomas Sondergard, the orchestra will perform the "Helios Overture" by Carl Nielsen, one of Denmark's most prominent composers. Its second act will feature Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with pianist Yekwon Sunwoo.
