Great Composer Series -- Anton Bruckner
Ever since 2010, the Seoul Arts Center (SAC) has been hosting its Great Composer Series of concerts to highlight many renowned composers from throughout the ages. Most recently, the SAC has been showcasing all nine symphonies of Anton Bruckner (1824-1896) over three years, from 2014 to 2016, under conductor Lim Hun-joung and with the Korean Symphony Orchestra. On February 26, they will present Bruckner's Symphony No.6 in A Major, WAB 106, as well as Mozart's Symphony No. 36 in C Major, K.425, the "Linz Symphony."

For the 2015-2016 program, pianist Kim Tae-hyung, who has won awards in many competitions, will perform Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 and other soloists, including pianist Son Yeol-eum, soprano Im Sun-hae and flutist Jasmine Choi will perform in future concerts. The SAC's next concerts are scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, Thursday, October 29, and Tuesday, December 15.
