The K-pop boy band Stray Kids have topped the Billboard 200 albums chart of the U.S. for a record eighth consecutive time with their latest release "Do It."

Billboard's chart preview on Nov. 30 said "Do It" sold 295,000 units sold in its first week after its Nov. 21 release.

Stray Kids thus have a record streak of eight straight albums topping the chart, as well as most No. 1 albums by a group on the Billboard 200 in the 21st century.

Beginning with its debut EP "Oddinary" in 2022, the group subsequently placed "Maxident," "5-Star," "Rock-Star," "Ate," "Hop" and "Karma" at No. 1 in that order.

The Billboard 200 is calculated by combining sales of traditional music formats like physical CDs and streaming and track equivalent albums that convert digital downloads into album sales.
