Jangsaengpo Whale Watching Cruise, the nation's lone tour for viewing whales from a boat, will begin regular service from March 30.

The tour operator Ulsan Namgu City Management Corp. said it will run the cruise 12 times a week through Nov. 30.

Every week will see six whale-viewing and six coastal tours. Night coastal tours will be offered every Saturday.

The whale-seeing tour will take three hours through the first and third routes and the coastal tour 90 minutes on the fourth route.

The 550-ton cruise vessel can accommodate 320 passengers and has facilities like a buffet restaurant, auditorium, and conference, rest and nursing rooms. It can host a range of events ranging from corporate or group workshops to weddings.

Passengers on a cruise can see performances and take part in events and games. The first group of visitors this year will get souvenirs.

Online reservations for the tour can be made on the website (www.whalecity.kr) or by phone at (+82-52) 226-1901.
