Art is the mirror of the people, and with art a society flourishes and is civilized. Art exhibitions are one of the methods of spreading awareness, culture and education. They are also an educational tool that speaks to people in a language that they all understand, so exhibitions help people find themselves and find their place in society.

Art galleries are a collection of works, whether paintings or sculptures, arranged in a specific way to convey the idea of the artist and here the public begins to think about the basic idea of the exhibition. From the moment I arrived in Korea, I was able to see them everywhere, in the airport, streets, hotels, markets, subways and restaurants. Korean people are very cultivated and I think the reason for this is education first, then the level of art offered in Korea. You will be able to easily find art galleries in all cities in Korea not only in Seoul.

I have enjoyed many exhibitions here in Seoul, and I have been very impressed by the illustration exhibitions in Korea. The Design Art Fair was held last May at the Hangaram Art Museum in Seoul Arts Center. The fair included many works of art that varied from fashion design to printing, handicrafts, and woodwork. I really liked that section, and I bought lots of paintings for their unique designs and mastery of their manufacture.

I recently visited the Seoul Illustration Fair which was held in COEX for four days. The illustration lovers enjoyed this wonderful exhibition. It was the last day of the fair when I visited but there were still a huge number of people from all over the world and from different Korean cities.

The fair was not only for illustrations and animations. I found there everything that the students of this field might need or want to learn, starting from the very sophisticated electronic drawing boards to the electronic drawings themselves, from information about paper companies to colored pencils and pens and books.

The exhibition was an open place for anyone who is interested in drawings. There was a special section for cartoon character artists, for drawings on glass, for furniture, for bags and for tattoo designs.

I had a temporary tattoo done on my hand. There was also a dark exhibition that contains luminous drawings, and the artists were truly creative. I wanted to spend more time there, and I wished there would be another day to attend it. I really enjoyed the unique exhibition as I hadn't had many opportunities in Egypt to attend such an exhibition. I was able to witness Korean artists' professionalism and this particular exhibition was worth visiting more than once.

For those who didn't have the opportunity to visit this time, there will be another opportunity in December from the 28 to 31. This exhibition is held twice a year in July and December.
