President Yoon Suk Yeol (fourth from right) on March 9 is the first to shovel dirt at the groundbreaking ceremony for the S-Oil Shaheen project held at Onsan National Industrial Complex in Ulju-gun County, Ulsan. The project involves construction of a massive petrochemical plant within the complex through investment of KRW 9.3 trillion, the biggest in a single project in the history of the domestic petrochemical industry. The term "Shaheen" is the Arabic word for "falcon," Saudi Arabia's national bird.
