Residents, forestry workers and public servants on the morning of March 7 plant Korean dendropanax trees around the volcanic cone Non Oreum in the village of Sangchang-ri in Andeok-myeon Township of Seogwipo, Jeju Island. As the country's first of its kind this year by a local government ahead of Arbor Day (April 5), the event saw the planting of 500 such trees with around 150 people in attendance.
