They will discuss measures to enhance cooperation on business and trade, on developing bilateral relations and on issues involving the Korean Peninsula.
On the second and final day of the commemorative summit, President Park will lead the first and second discussion sessions. She will co-chair the first session with President Thein Sein of Myanmar, the ASEAN chair country this year. In her introductory remarks in the first session, Park will discuss the importance of ASEAN-Republic of Korea cooperation and make proposals for its future direction. She will hold a joint press conference with President Thein Sein where she will explain the joint statement which ASEAN and Korea will adopt, wrapping up the two-day special summit.
