·China·Japan Joint Performance “Silk Road”

As part of public diplomacy invigoration work of Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles(KCCLA), the  ‘Bidangil: Silk Road’ special performance took place at KCCLA on April 27th. This performance was different than any other of its kind because there were 3 different LA-based performance teams from Korea, China, and Japan who participated in this special event to promote cultural awareness to American people. The event was very successful; more than 180 non-Korean people came to this event.

Kum-Mu, Sam-book choom, Hwa-Kwan Moo, Dragon Dance, Lion Dance, Taiko, Book Choom, and other dances were performed, which originated in China, Japan, and Korea.
