The Top 4 Cherry Blossom spots in Seoul

Cherry Blossom in South Korea attracts Koreans and foreigners alike.

The annual masses that head to Jamsil to enjoy the magical blossom surrounding the Seokchon Lake, Gangnam and Yeouido’s Cherry Blossom Festival are certainly crowd-pleasers in the heart of Seoul.

Let’s start the Cherry Blossom journey at Bongeunsa Temple (봉은사)

Bongeunsa Temple is just a short walk from Starfield CoEx a well known shopping mall in the heart of Gangnam. It is home to the Starfield Library

which was designed by the Gensler firm.

The temple itself was designed in 794 during the reign of King Wonseong by the then State Precepto Yeonhoe who was held in regard as the most

senior monk of Silla.

The temple sits on the side of Sudo Mountain that overlooks the modern day CoEx mall complex.
