A new album featuring music from popular Korean dramas performed by renowned classical musicians will be released on July 9. (BOM Arts Project's Facebook page)

An album featuring music from popular Korean dramas performed by top classical musicians from around the world will be released next month. 


Universal Music Group and BOM Arts Project on June 8 said the album "Shades of Love" will be released on July 9 and feature famous classical musicians including Swiss flutist Philipp Jundt, violinist Daniel Hope and violist Richard Yongjae O'Neill under the classical music label Deutsch Grammophon of Germany. 


The album's 17 tracks including arrangements of the original soundtrack of popular K-dramas like "Crash Landing on You," "Mr. Sunshine," "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" and "Descendants of the Sun," as well as German composer Marco Hertenstein's "Shades of Love-Red” and "Shades of Love-Blue."


Jundt, who lived in Korea for 12 years, and Hertenstein jointly proposed the project. "The Song for My Brother" from "Crash Landing on You" was released on the label's website on June 4 at noon.
