"Stay strong, Korea."
This was the message of hope appearing on July 4 formed by hundreds of lights in the night sky over Seoul's Yeouido Hangang Park.
Around 300 domestically produced drones that gave off light like fireflies delivered a message to the people.
Organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, this "drone flash mob" was the government's way of encouraging the people and thanking medical staff amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
To prevent large gatherings, the event was not announced in advance and featured images of people washing their hands, wearing masks and social distancing as well as messages such as "Thanks to the people" and "Stay strong, Korea."
