With less than a month to go before the Incheon Asian Games 2014, the uniforms to be worn by the staff and officials have recently been made public.

The 2014 Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee (IAGOC) held both a ceremony to introduce the uniforms and a launch ceremony for the volunteers, on August 19 at a gymnasium in Bupyeong-gu (district) in Incheon. Seven sets of uniforms, including ones for the judges, the Olympic Council of Asia and the games' organizing committee, were shown to the public.

The IAGOC held the event to show off the uniforms and to hold a launch ceremony for the volunteers. About 5,000 volunteers gathered for the function where they pledged to make every effort so that the upcoming international sporting event is successful.

IAGOC President Kim Young-Soo said, “All the preparation for the Incheon Asian Games 2014 is now complete.”

“Volunteers are closest to the athletes and the staff, as well as to visitors from across Asia, meeting them first. So please take responsibility and greet them with the highest level of kindness so that they can enjoy the games,” said Kim.
