McDonald's on April 19 said it will launch next month the limited edition "BTS Meal" named after the K-pop group in 49 countries including India, Vietnam and Bulgaria.


The meal includes 10 pieces of Chicken McNuggets, french fries and Coke. It will also offer for the first time in the U.S. Cajun and sweet chili dipping sauce, two flavors exclusive to the Korean market.

The group's management agency Big Hit Music said, "The band has great memories with McDonald's," adding, "We're excited about this collaboration and can't wait to share the BTS Meal with the world."

The meal will be offered in 49 countries until June, with its launch to start on May 26 in countries including the U.S., Austria and Colombia. It will be available in Korea from May 27.

After the announcement, major foreign media such as Reuters, CNN, USA Today and Fox News as well as AllKpop, an American media company that specializes in K-pop, delivered the news.
