Central bank raises benchmark rate for 2nd straight month to 3%
The Bank of Korea has raised its benchmark interest rate for the second straight month. The figure on Aug. 28 went up 25 basis points to 3%, just the fourth time that the bank has raised it in consecutive months. Read more here
