Mallorca midfielder Lee Kang-in is the first Korean to score multiple goals in a game in Spain's top soccer league La Liga.

The midfielder on April 23 scored twice against Getafe at Mallorca Son Moix Stadium in Palma de Mallorca of Spain's Balearic Islands.

His goals helped his team to a come-from-behind win, 3-1.

Lee tied the score 1-1 in the 11th minute of the second half after putting into the net a rebound of teammate Manu Morlanes' blast.

Eight minutes later, Antonio Raillo headed in a corner kick from the right side to give the host a 2-1 lead.

With Mallorca hanging on to a 2-1 lead late in stoppage time, Lee's second score insured the win. In the 95th minute with most of Getafe's players in Mallorca's half of the field to try to tie, he grabbed Raillo's clearance header and dribbled about 70 meters before slotting the ball home with his left foot.

The midfielder in this game raised his league total to five goals for the season along with four assists.

Soccer analytics company Opta Sports said Lee is the first Korean to score two goals in a La Liga game. The sports statistical site WhoScored.com gave him a game-high 8.6 rating.

After the win, the league officially named him "Man of the Match."
