U.S. pianist George Li, winner of the silver medal at the 2015 International Tchaikovsky Competition and recipient of the 2016 Avery Fisher Prize, made his solo debut in Boston at the age of 10, and performed for President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in 2011 at a state dinner at the White House.
The Washington Post has praised him for his “staggering technical prowess, sense of command and depth of expression.”
On Aug. 23, George Li will perform music from Beethoven and Lizst for local audiences in Seoul.
