President Park Geun-hye visited China, Myanmar and Australia to attend the 22nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting, the 17th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) +3 Summit, the East Asia Summit (EAS) and the upcoming G20 meeting from November 9 to 16.

President Park visited Beijing to attend the APEC summit from November 9 to 12 where she will actively participate in the discussions on strengthening cooperation and make proposals to promote co-existence and co-prosperity. She held summit talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and discuss issues involving the Korean Peninsula and the Korea-China free trade agreement (FTA).

The president visited Naypyidaw, Myanmar's new capital, to attend the ASEAN+3 and the EAS summits. On November 13 she co-chaired the ASEAN+3 summit as leader of the trilateral summit between Korea, Japan, and China, alongside Myanmar’s representative.

Finally, President Park attended the G20 summit in Brisbane, Australia, on November 15 and 16, flying back to Seoul on November 17.
