The K Festival, a series of K-pop concerts, brought some excitement to Moonlight Park in the Songdo International Business District in Incheon on October 3 and 4. The festival was organized slightly differently from other pop concerts. Unlike other omnibus concerts, in which singers or groups just sing one or two songs each and then leave the stage, each group here performed as if they were playing an independent concert on a main or smaller stage. As it was programmed like a rock festival for the first time this year, the performers also had a chance to meet with their fans.

Some 21 groups and solo performers, including Beast, 4Minute, G.NA, B.A.P, Day Break, 10CM, Block B, Boys Republic, Jung Joonil and the Sultan of The Disco, appeared on stage during the festival, singing in a passionate tone and showing off with their stylish performances.

The festival featured not only music but also offered events in which visitors could experience other aspects of Korean culture, such as a traditional wedding parade, calligraphy, making rice cake and fans with traditional patterns, and wearing Hanbok, traditional Korean attire. Attendees enjoyed Korean traditions and music in a fun atmosphere.

"There is growing international interest and participation in Korea-themed festivals," said Hong Joung-soo, an official from the Incheon Development & Tourism Corporation who helped organize the festival. "In the future, we intend to set up a camp ground and to develop more lodging facilities so that artists and spectators can enjoy the festival even more."
