K-pop sensation BTS has earned four honors at this year's Billboard Music Awards, its fifth consecutive year of winning at least one of the awards.

The Billboard awards are one of the top three of their kind in the U.S. along with the American Music Awards and the Grammys.

The group won all four of the awards it was nominated for -- Top Selling Song, Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist and Top Social Artist -- at the ceremony held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

BTS won Top Song Sales Artist for the first time, Top Duo/Group for the second and Top Social Artist for the fifth straight year.

"We wanted to share a fresh energy through 'Dynamite,' but winning this award is evidence that we fulfilled our goal," the group said.

At the ceremony, BTS also performed "Butter" for the first time since its release on May 21.
