Gochang Pansori Museum

Gochang Pansori Museum was built in the residence of Dongri Shin Jae-hyo (whose penname was Dongri) in 2001 for the purpose of maintaining and developing the inherited tradition of Pansori and commemorating many great Pansori singers such as Kim So-hee and Jin Chae-sun, and Shin Jae-hyo -the greatest theorist, arranger, and sponsor of Pansori. At the time of reconstruction, Sarangchae, was the only one that remained and was repaired- Pansori Museum and Dongri Gookarkdang (Korean traditional music hall). Pansori Museum aims to collect, preserve, research, study, display, and analyze tangible and intangible cultural items related to Pansori in order to educate the general public and to provide people with opportunities to appreciate Pansori.

Yeungnam University Museum

The University Museum was founded in May 1968 on the Daegu Campus with the collections of the Institute of Shilla-Gaya culture. The Daegu campus was moved to Gyeongsan Campus so that the Museum was relocated in the Library building on the Gyeongsan Campus in July 1972.
