McDonald's staff around the world will wear a uniform with Hangeul inscribed on it.

The global fashion brand Saint on May 12 tweeted a photo of the T-shirt, saying, "Official McDonald's x BTS 'Crew T-Shirt' to be worn by McDonald's employees May 26th, 2021."

The shirt comes in black and dark gray with the logos of the K-pop sensation BTS and McDonald's in the upper left chest. Below those are the Hangeul consonants of BTS (ㅂㅌㅅㄴㄷ) and McDonald's (ㅁㄷㄴㄷ).

From May 26, McDonald's will launch the BTS Meal in collaboration with the eponymous K-pop group in 49 countries including the U.S., Austria and Colombia and conduct marketing using Hangeul.

The meal comprises 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries and a Coke, and two types of sauces.

Developed by McDonald's Korea, the two sauces are sweet chili and Cajun and their names are written in Korean and English on the labels. The limited-edition meal will be sold from May 27 to June 20 in Korea.

This is McDonald's first menu item launched worldwide in collaboration with a pop music star. Last year, the chain released menu items with hip-hop artist Travis Scott and Latin pop singer J Balvin but in North America only.
