The 34-year-old Korean singer appeared on stage alongside host Kevin Hart, performing the horse-riding dance together. “You got over 100 million (views) on YouTube right now for ‘Gangnam Style.’ How does it feel?” Hart asked him, whose answer in Korean left the host lost in translation. “I am super-excited and so happy right now. I have always been dreaming of answering in Korean on this stage,” said PSY, who got a reply back from the host saying “Me too, son”.

American pop star Katy Perry, who admitted to having caught PSY’s “Gangnam Style” bug, appeared with her mouth open on the screen.

The UK boy band The Wanted, who joined with PSY to perform the sensational horse-riding move at the Hollywood Avalon Theater during the pre-party show a day earlier, kept repeating “Oh my God, is this really him?” upon seeing PSY on stage. The audience was electrified and aroused to enthusiasm when PSY and the pop band performed the song’s signature dance together.

“Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ has all the best elements of hypnotically weird one-hit wonders,” wrote Rolling Stone about the song which came out in July. “It also makes it deeper than its viral precursor, Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday'."

Figurines and collectible items of the rising star are selling on eBay amidst his growing popularity which shows no sign of losing momentum.
