Travel the World over just 4 days at the Korea World Travel Fair

From June 2 to 5, the Korea World Travel Fair (KOFTA) will take place at Coex Convention Center, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Tourism Organization and the Visit Korea Committee.
Since 1986, the Korea World Travel Fair been the largest exhibition of its kind in Korea, and has been recognized by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). This year, approximately 480 organizations from 60 countries hope to boast local tourism while presenting traditional performances. During the four-day event, visitors can visit booths representing some of the world’s least-known but most exciting tourism destinations, such as Kirgizstan, Slovenia, Seychelles, Mongolia and Tanzania.

One of the subsidiary events is the Arab Cultural Festival (www.arabfest.org), hosted by the Korea-Arab Society (www.korea-arab.org), with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Korea Foundation. A total of twelve Arabic countries, including Palestine and Oman, will take part in the festival and showcase authentic performances, fashions and food.
