Kim Jang-hoon and Psy likely to rank first in ticket sales
Dec 21, 2011
Kim Jang Hoon and Psy’s joint concert is likely to claim the top spot in ticket sales among year-end concerts for three years in a row.
According to the data tallied on November 24 by the country’s largest ticket reservation site, Interpark, the two singers’ concert One Touch topped the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reservation rankings.
With this outcome, One Touch is likely to be the best-selling concert in 2011 for three consecutive years. Notably, the concert claimed the top spot partly because its repurchasing rates are high.
So what draws concert goers to the One Touch concert?
First of all, Kim and Psy go all out for their concert with passion. Pretty much anyone and everyone who watches Kim and Psy perform will feel that the two put every ounce of energy into their concerts.
But Kim’s directing ability also plays an important role in their concert’s popularity. He usually surprises the audience at every concert with brilliant ideas and unique stage settings, including moving stages and surprise descents from the air and his special efforts to please the eyes and ears of the audience members often captivate the audience.
In addition, their witty words and passionate performances excite the audience and encourage the viewers to participate in the concert while creating an atmosphere like a club.
Hwang Gyu Wan, director of Psy and Kim Jang Hoon’s agency told enews, “The close friendship between Psy and Kim Jang Hoon likely creates a synergy effect. More than anything else, the audience might highly appreciate their passion and devotion for their concert.”
