A photography competition to introduce popular tourist attractions and restaurants in and around Gwangju is now underway, as the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade will kick off next month.

The photo contest will run from June 15 to 28. Those who want to participate in the event can visit the Gwangju Universiade's official Facebook profile (www.facebook.com/Gwangju2015), Instagram page (http://instagram.com/nuribi_2015universiade) or KakaoStory page (http://story.kakao.com/ch/2015gwangju) and post their photos of tourist attractions or of themselves dining at famous restaurants across the city.



The Gwangju Universiade Organizing Committee plans to select 70 people and present them with gift certificates worth up to KRW 10,000 each. Their photos will later be uploaded onto the Gwangju Universiade's official social networking sites and will be made public.

The organizing committee also plans to produce and distribute the tourist information map Nuribi Tour through its online channels. The committee intends to provide information about public transportation among the venues and nearby restaurants.
